Hi, I am TheBadNewsB, I make art to keep myself sane and put it on my shop to share it with anyone who loves the same things I do.
TheBadNewsB started as a means to process the direction the world was taking us in. Art is an act of joy and resistance in a world trying to destroy our creativity and hope. And I just wanted to express and share that with people who valued the same things I do:
Acceptance, empathy, feminism, LGBTQIA+ pride, science, democracy, social justice, books, outdoor shit, being a nusance to my local government.
I'm an indie artist in my free time, and project manager by day. If you find that my store isn't posting new designs of late, I am living. I don't owe the machine.
I am also a mom, hiker, kayaktivist, knowledge fangirl, and excessive reader, mindfully navigating apocalyptic times with creativity, compassion, and clarity. There's lots more but the internet is werid.
